Wild Violets

I just finished a couple of days ago. I just joined a local recreation dept. watercolor class. The subject she was demonstrating was cut flowers in a vase. Not really my cup of coffee...so I decided to go through my own photos for something in a more natural setting.

These are violets in a rock crevice near Nippising, ON.

Oh just stunning, wonderful work on the rocks and the violets are soft and sweet and so well done...love it all. And Welcome to the forum, can't wait to see other treasures you have in store for us.

A big welcome to you as a new member! We're thrilled to have you join us with your splendid work! This reminds me of the flowers in crevices I saw while in England last spring.

So beautiful and you have painted the rocks so well. I live with rocks everywhere and this is marvellous.
