Bargain Basement Posting Guidelines

Please note that this forum is here to provide WC! members with a place to offer their excess inventories to other members. It is NOT a place for galleries, agents, or other such vendors to post works for sale. Such posts will be summarily removed. Repeated violations of this will lead to a removal of your account.

Buyers - please do not post "bids" - this isn't an auction room. If you are interested in a piece, simply contact the artist via e-mail or PM. If the artist doesn't have an "e-mail" button under their posts, click to view their profile, and click the email link there for a web form which will allow you to contact them.

Artists - if you sell a piece listed here, and you no longer wish to have it listed - please contact the moderator of the forum and request that the thread be closed. The thread title will be altered so that the original title is prefaced with the word "SOLD". The easiest way to do this is to locate the thread, and click the "Report This Post to a Moderator" link when viewing the thread details. In your request, just inform the moderator that the piece has been sold and is no longer available.

Also - a note to artists. This isn't a "replacement" or "alternative" forum to post everything you have for sale. Many artists have closets full of items they've created over the years, and for various reasons, they've never sold. Artists DO buy from other artists. But remember, they don't call us "starving artists" for nothing! If you'd like to unload those inventories, please be sure to offer your items at a discount here for other members. Items that are posted here for the same price as they are posted elsewhere will be summarily removed. Repeated violations of this policy may lead to a removal of your account.

Perhaps folks using this forum should make sure they have email enabled?

If they have chosen not to accept emails then the form won't appear - and if their PM folders are full, the only way to get in contact would be to post a message here.

Teanne's idea is a good one.

I sold one of the pieces last night while in chat with someone, and then went back to delete the post...(less than a few hours later) and couldn't do it...so a way to put a sold on would be great.
