Post Project Discussion: DOORS

A new project has been announced in the WetCanvas! project system!

Title: DOORS
Project Leader: Scattykat
Relative Difficulty: Irrelevant
Type Restrictions: Painting
Medium: Any Medium
Subject: Not Applicable
Days open for signups: 30
Maximum participants allowed: 20

Description:

Thought it was time to follow up the windows project with some doors, hope enough of you feel the same...

Find reference photos from the RIL or use your own photos, or take a walk around your area to find your subjects.

Front doors, back doors, trap doors, patio doors, cupboard doors, car doors, sliding doors, revolving doors, ooh there are lots everywhere.

Entries for this project should be original new artwork for this project, not prints, not photos, and also please, no digital manipulations of references.
Digital art done in the traditional manner of drawing and painting is acceptable.

Before you sign up please read all the rules and make sure you understand the project and that you can commit to fulfilling the required number of cards, otherwise it is not fair to folk who spend time making their cards and sending them.

Remember, you will be making an original mini piece of art for each participant who signs up, that's 20 cards if we get a full project. Each card is each card is no smaller than 2.5 x 3.5 inches or no larger than 7x5 inches- to fit a standard envelope size.

There will be cards to mail to other countries, so check out the postage requirements.

When you sign up, please send a pm to me with your name and mailing address, and include your user name on WetCanvas. After the project sign-up time has ended, you'll be provided with a list of mailing addresses for the participants.

Additional Information:

For more information on the project: Click here!

Remember, in order to help keep the discussions on projects organized, you should post your questions, suggestions, and comments on submitted work here in this thread. By doing this, we allow other non-project efforts to not get "pushed down" by a swarm of project-related threads.

NB: Although I have edited this post re digital Art, I am unable to edit it in the Project System. (Charlie's Mum)

Re: Project Discussion: DOORS

All of mine have been mailed out for some time now. If you didn't get one from me, blame the postman and let me know. I'll make replacements per requests.

I've also pm'd everyone from whom I received doors. If you sent one and haven't heard from me, let me know. I'll double check.

Thanx all for sharing, RedGecko

Oh, Why Not! This thred does remind me of something I heard - This guy said he was born by Ceserian Section. He felt no effects from it over the years, other than when he leaves a room, He has a Strong Urge to use the Window!
