Howdy, and welcome to the Southwest/Western Art forum!
Here in this forum, we welcome all media such as painting, pottery, sculpture, drawing, and anything else! Even though this forum is called the Southwest/Western forum, we welcome artists from all around the world. For your work to fit in this forum, it must be of the Southwest or Western genre. This includes (but is not necessarily limited to) landscapes, Southwest domestic and wild animals, cowboys, Native Americans, ranch/farm themes, Western still life, rodeo, etc.
Because of the wide variety of media that may be posted in this forum, we appreciate any details you can give about your work. It will help us to better appreciate your artwork, offer comments, and give critique (but only if you ask for it, and it will always be gentle). Please offer some information on your work such as:
-Size of the piece?
-Medium used?
-Anything else you'd like to say.
Please limit yourself to posting one thread per day. If you post more than one per day, it can push other members's threads down the page and eventually out of sight. Posting only one thread per day will also help members to see your threads and comment on each one.
Also, please post images of your work with the Uploader or Attachment feature— the use of off-site links as a substitute to show your images is unacceptable and not in keeping with the intent or spirit of this site.
If you are posting a Work-In-Progress, mentioning this in the thread title as a WIP is a good idea. It helps other members to understand that it is not yet finished. When you have completed that artwork, you may ask me (jennaboo88) to change the title from WIP to FINISHED if you'd like.
If you'd like to get to know everyone around here, the 'Round the Campfire thread is a great place for chit-chat and for getting to know the folks in this forum.
If you are new to WetCanvas, please be sure that you've read and understand the User Agreement

If you have any questions or are having problems of any kind, please feel free to contact this forum's moderator, jennaboo88 (Jenna), or this forum's guide, rugman (Ron). We are here to help you.
I hope you enjoy yourself here in our forum.
