In case you are interested
I just opened a new Tarot project. It's Wands...the suit of life and renewal.
Jan has signed up for a card. If anyone else is interested, PM me or sign up in the projects area. The slots usually fill up fast and there will only be one more project after this where new people will have a chance of getting a card. Swords is next month and already has 5 of the 14 available slots reserved. When we get around to illustrating the Major Arcana, priority goes to people who illustrated on of the Minor Arcana cards.
I thought Jjsangel, Lahree, Isenho and some of you that I've seen doing fantasy work might be interested in knowing.

Oh yes...I really, really hope some of you will join this project! It's an excellent one and I must admit, i'd just love to see more cards done in cp

sigh I sure wish I could...sounds like so much fun and such a departure for me...(of course I wanna do one of the major arcana's) LOL.

Nonsense!
If you are interested in the project, sign up. Regardless of whether I think your work is good (and I think it is), the project is open to all skill levels.
The goal is to fully represent the diversity of artistic talent and inspiration that is here at WetCanvas.

I can understand the time factor. My cards are currently on hold right now, but I will be doing them soon!
I had to put restrictions on the Major Arcana because it will be so popular. So, it's become a "reward" for people who did suit cards. As it is, I'll probably still have to use a lottery or reservation system for the assigned slots because I'm guessing there will be more participants than available cards.

The tarot is divided into 2 sections: the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana. The Minor Arcana is composed of 4 suits (Wands, Pentacles, Cups & Swords) and is the origin of our modern deck playing cards (clubs, diamonds, hearts, spades).
The Major Arcana is an additional 22 cards and it has the big symbolic images. The Major Arcana contains cards like Strength, Justice, The Priestess, The Fool, etc. Because they have really strong symbolic images, they are the ones that people often remember. Because of that, they are more popular for people to draw.

Hey, can you tell I know zit about Tarro cards. Wasn't brought up into believing in them. I am anxious to see what you all accomplish. Since I am clueless, I will not participate. Thanks for the invite!
