Here are a few flowers that I did at the beginning of the year for a show...
Camelia (14X17 inches)
Waterlily Sunshine (12X16 inches)
Fuscia (18X18 inches)

Re: Flowers in Graphite
These are real beauties Carol - lots of work, lots of patience - beautiful result!
They remind me of old botanical illustrations.

Oh Carol, these are simply stunning. See what I would have missed out on had this new forum not started. I don't think I've ever been to any of the pencil forums. I must traverse this great WC universe more often!

you should see me wield a pencil. I find drawing to be faster than painting. Each of these was about 10 hrs, the fuschia probably a little less in time. When I get in the groove, they just pop out.
Thank you for the comments

Oh Carol, these are the best Graphite Flowers I've ever seen on WC (and I mean that) -- absolutely stunning work.

Re: Flowers in Graphite
These are incredibly well done graphite drawings. Just amazing, really like the camelia with the dew drops. I have never seen flowers rendered so well in graphite.
