Post here if you want a getaway!

I'm surprised at what appears to be a small amount of interest in the getaway. I would think it would be great fun for us all, and there would be one within driving distance to most people. We still have other locations we were considering.

What I'd like is that ANYONE interested in going to a getaway, location aside, post here and where you are and how far you're willing to go.

With enough people it would a LOTS of fun!

I'd love a get away. I think one hang up is no suggested dates yet. I notice Carly has started the ball rolling in GA by listing dates good for her. I would love to make the trip to Georgia. For what it is worth either for Dallas or Georgia, the best date for me is the week beginning June 11th.

I would definitely be interested in the Getaway. I live in central VA and I am willing to make up to a day's drive to get to where ever (maybe more if it sounds real good and the timing is right). GA sounds good, would like to see something in the Shenandoah Mnts though.

I really want to take part in a getaway!!
I live in Cleveland though, and it looks like Texas and Georgia might be a little too far for me to go right now. I would invite y'all to come here, but not too many people come to Cleveland voluntarily.

I would love to participate in a getaway!! I'm living in Colorado right now but in mid June will be moving back home to New Mexico, and I would think that either Co or NM would make a wonderful place for a getaway!! I have young kids though, so I can't go to far away. If anyone is interested in a weekend trip to Co or NM(this summer?) let me know, I know of some really great places for painting in either locale!!

SCOTT...mebbe what we need are REGIONAL sites set up, with an opportunity for folks to choose where and how far they are willing to go! Pick, say 6 sites, different dates and then let everyone pick! Personally, with my current work load, it would have to be somewhere in the southeast or Atlantic coast. Dates..late summer, early fall, but that is also subject to change with a possible move in the future. Real specific, huh??

Hey Shelewis Don't forget me! I'll do a getaway here in Colorado or perhaps in New Mexico. It will depend on the dates. My don't we get one going before you move. Rocky Mtn National Park Maybe, or anong the Cache La Poudre River. Maybe even a trip to Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. There are tons of great places. What do you think?
