Re: First post

J- this is really attractive. What a doll! But I gotta tell you what caught my eye the most: Its your excellent handling of the ruffles and dots in the dress.

Good job!

Marci

Re: First post

Hi J - welcome! I love the brightness of this, and agree that the dress especially stands out. Love her hair too. I wonder if you could blend/smooth her cheek a bit more to keep it from appearing too hairy. Her ear seems off - maybe too large for a baby. But overall, this is just great. How long have you been doing this? Share more w/ us, if you can!
Best,
Susan

Ahh! How cute. I agree the dress and hair are just wonderful. Maybe a touch more glint in her eyes? Very nicely done and welcome to the cp forum. wanda

Re: First post

I like the way you did the hair and dress. My only issue is the ear. It might be a little bit large for a baby. I am looking forward to seeing other work from you. She is really sweet.

Welcome J. You were right, this is a nice one to share. I especially like how you did her hair. I like how you have a few stray wisps here and there. It makes it so much more believable!

Re: First post

Hi J Burton, lovely little girl, I like the way you used complementary colors the peach in her face and the blue of the background work very well. I agree there should be a little glint in the left eye. Ann Kullburg is having a contest where the pictures should be done in complementary colors, you should enter this sweet girl.

OH I have a grandson Jacob Burton Kennell, gave me a start when I saw J Burton.

Hope to see you here again soon.
Rosa
