do alkyds yellow less than traditional oils?

I'd also like to hear people's experiences with alkyd white,it's often recommended to be used because it yellows less, but does it still yellow to some extent?

Re: do alkyds yellow less than traditional oils?

Yes, it can yellow somewhat, but much less than linseed oil based whites. However, I use Winsor and Newton's Alkyd white and have never seen any evidence of it yellowing. It works great and dries overnight. It is a little more tacky than regular oil paint, but a little Liquin makes is flow nicely.
