roz--I LOVE this painting! it has a very "lonely" feeling (but in a GOOD way!) what super lighting! welcome to oils--we are glad you found your way here--it is perfectly fine to cross post! (especially with such a nice piece)

Kevin--your painting somehow reminds me a little of edward hopper's work, even though you use a much more distant view. Welcome again--it is nice to meet you--hope you'll come hang with us in the oil forum!

Kevin - this is a really good painting. Quite honestly, I don't think I can find anything to criticize ! Definitely Hopperish, as Celestia says. Keep posting - I'd love to see more of your work.

Hi Celestia and Lorraine...Wow,thank you!! I was not familiar with Edward Hopper so I checked out his work on the internet. Great stuff! I think it is the lighting in my painting that resembles his work. He uses that low in the sky sun that I was aiming for. Thanks again....Kevin
