A painting chemist

Hi! I am a chemistry graduate student in the US and I love to paint. Before I started grad school I took a couple of classes at my local community college. I learned that (contrary to prior beliefs) I can draw, and pretty well at that. I can also paint. I work with oil paints because that is what I learned in my art classes, though I would also like to use acrylics some day. I look forward to exploring this site.
