Game Over

Hi everyone. I haven't posted anything in a while, so I thought I'd share my most recently finished painting.

"Game Over" - 9x12 on La Carte.

Thanks for looking!

Magnificent. Outstanding. So wish I could see it in real life - it really is a marvel. But I'd still beat you at monopoly!!! Kat

Fabulous!!! Yes, you never cease to amaze me. Aside from your remarkable ability to even paint this so beautifully, you also entertain. I know I'll return countless times to examine every little piece.

Re: Game Over

Thank you, Kat! I never seem to win at Monopoly, so no doubt you would beat me.

Thanks, Judi!

Hello, Ed!

Thanks, Karen! Very nice of you to say.

Thank you, Don! The dice were the hardest part - not the translucency, but just keeping my angles straight (which you can tell I didn't always do well). Somehow that confuses my brain. I never wanted to paint marbles because everyone does it, but now I see why. Totally fun to paint!

Thanks, everyone! I appreciate the nice comments.

Re: Game Over

Kari: I'll bet this series is fun and you need to be wide awake sharp and have your wits about you when you render. The focus must be fine tuned. Love this one, especially the scrabble pieces....WOW! I like the controlled chaos of all the little objects. Not only skillful, but creative.
Wonderful.

Re: Game Over

Thanks, Derek! A bit challenging, but definitely fun to paint.

"Controlled chaos" - I like that.

Another brilliant piece Kari, you never cease to daze and amaze! You've got every detail down, I don't think you missed a thing. Even the wood on the Scrabble pieces, geez it's just amazing!

Re: Game Over

Hi Sandy, how fun to see you here! I've been meaning to email you. You can have that little scottie dog, he's not very fun to paint. I think I did a little better on this one than I did on the last, so maybe next time I paint him he won't be such a pain.

Thank you toniov, Laurie, and Chris for the wonderful compliments! I truly appreciate it.

Re: Game Over

You are truly amazing with your wonderfully lifelike work. The message, or the "Why" of the painting is also just wonderful, but your ability with the technical parts is just amazing,
