Hi everyone I'm a new member to this site. I had been looking for the site in giving me good tips in both graphite and coloured pencils.

I haven't been drawing for very long in fact 6 months to be precise. I've started with graphite pencils now will be having a go at coloured pencils. The coloured pencils I'll be using is Derwent studio pencils.

I only draw wildlife like big cats and wolves etc... I sometimes do pet portraits oh and also done birds.

FYI:
* You can access any Forum by using the “Forum Jump” located at the bottom right of the screen or the Channels drop down menu at the upper left

* There are “Stickys’ (permanent threads that “stick” at the top of all thread listings) that are full of helpful information.
* You can find the latest posts of the day by clicking on “new posts”

by simply entering WetCanvas in the blank asking for a domain name
* Clicking on your own username will present a drop down menu with numerous options including finding all of your own posts
* You must have a minimum of two posts prior to being able to upload an image.
**When you are reading a post inside a thread, as you are now, you will notice another blue bar just atop of the post. Look toward the right and you will see the Thread Tools option and here is where you click to see options such as choosing to subscribe for an Email update to the thread or add the thread to your favorites so you may easily find it in the future. (see more tips like this one in the FAQs link in my signature line)

It is true, the CP forum has great artists, plan to learn a lot.

The Photography Forum also has many animal lovers, too. Stop by and visit. If you have photos of the animals you are drawing let us see them. We love to swap photos and are always posting pet pix.
