Im Looking , Searching for the Connection~ Life from within

This is just some Ldrawing from an untutored session tonight , will post some more tutored stuff down the way, .. Im like so tired my eyes hurt, my head WANTS TO EXPLODE and my Left arm is WELL numb ,and no longer a part of my body ~I think ' but still there is the thrill of drawing a human ... even after a full day drawing ... I feel like Im a Kid in a candy store ....

I look for the connection between me and the model , sometimes its there and sometimes , it eludes me , but for the most part ... there is always that spark inside Me the Artist thats pushing on regardless ...I appreciate your thoughts

Hi Sandra,

These are a great collection of your work!
I have to agree with you about showing a connection between you and your model though.
Some do show a rapport, but others she seems distant and wrapped up in her own thoughts.

Never thought I would say this, but my favourite one in this group is actually one of the gestures on the first pic, the one on the left. It just grabs me for some reason!

So many of these are so good that one feels compelled to share the empathy in your rapport with the model. As you suggest, when things go "click" all the other "thuds" go down the gurgler!
I particulary like the one with her resting on her elbows, with her legs crossed up behind.

Gees guys iv not been on here much ,busy drawing shed loads of live models I'm making the most of it as I'm not going to be around for awhile , well fleetingly from time to time to see what all u fine people are up to , I'm also seriously thinking of taking a studio out at where i learn maybe , I just want to eat charcoal and draw , well at least two things will happen my drawing will improve and ill be regular ~ LoL ..... just glancing to see how you are all doing , I read all your very impressive words of understanding and encouragement to me ,I would Answer u all personally but u all know how mushie I am when I talk so I'll just say ever so softly and as elegantly as I can ~ thank you~ you all touch My heart , my soul :very much ...
