Well you have heard the story, several times. You know, the one where the husband cheats with a woman half his age.

If it hadn't been for my faith I think I would shriveled up and died long time ago.

I think nature illustrates God's compassion for the the broken hearted and people that are crushed. New life finds a way. Trees that are cut down will grow a new tree. Forests that are burned down sprout new life the next spring. Weeds that grow in the crack of the sidewalk no matter how many times they are pulled out. Seeds that survive digestion and grow after they are pooped out! There is hope in knowing that God cares and that no matter what hardship we are going through it will pass and life will be good again!
