This is a colored pencil WIP portrait of a 'Spring Dryad' on 11x14" Strathmore sketch paper. I was inspired by last month's challenge but I messed up on my first rendition and want to try it again! Since it's on larger paper please forgive the warping at the very top -- it's kind of darkened and blurred, it's not supposed to be that dark.
Please be brutally honest and all critiques are welcome! This is the first time I've done any drawing in colored pencil of this extent EVER so this is a learning experience for me and I can't get better until I know my faults
and I know I've got them!
She is supposed to be in a dance position (Flamanco) but I haven't started her legs and I need to add MORE petals!!!!
