April Landscape Challenge 2012

Welcome to the April Landscape Challenge. Im Meggs, Im Australian and your host for this month.
These are some of my personal photos, taken in North Queensland,New South Wales and out my front door.

All media and all skill levels are welcome to join in. The object here is to have fun, practice and to share. You have all month to do one,or as many as you wish. You may crop, edit,flip, and even rearrange the images as you would like, change the colours as you see fit, take parts of one and add it to the other. When you are finished with your painting, please post it here in this thread.

We all like encouragement. So please take the time to comment, even if you're not posting a pic, (or even help if asked ) on other artist's entries. We all needed to start somewhere, and we do have newbies wanting to learn also.

Most of all LETS HAVE FUN. Please join US!!!!

A crop of the creek. Still trying to keep things soft to fit the beautiful subject.

Sorry,Meggs, to do this to your beautiful creek photo. This is practice you said, and things just got a little out of control. To make up for it, and what may come, I will refrain from any smart remarks and giving you a hard time, but just for the duration of you being hostess here.

Hey nice to see everyone checking in, and really pleased the reference photos have excited you into having a go if time allows. Im in the same boat, had all the time in the world before and now its back to work for me.

Vlad your certainly quick of the mark and love it, this is a favourite scene of mine.. my Uncles farm where I virtually grew up. The old bales photo is also on the same property, looking from across the creek.
I cant wait to see the posts.

Bill just had a look at the gallery of the March Challenge. You certainly brought out the talent with your reference photos. The Gallery was fantastic,
