Elaine, and the rest of who are into worshiping the LORD, have you heard the song "Holy" by Jesus Culture? I look at this piece by kreativekate and I feel tears wanting to drop.
You see, the Bible (what little of the recorded word of the Word that we possess today) says that Christ was not a particularly attractive man, but there was something about Him that no one would could turn away from. Even His haters were in awe of Him, and the only way that they could erase Him from their minds was to put Him away.
This piece, as are ALL of the other pieces in this inspirational forum, is so inspiring to me. After all, the ONLY reason I got into art in the first place was that vivid dream I had in October 2011. I won't waste anyone's time with the details of that dream, but I recall hopping out of bed and thinking "I have to find a way to share with the world my message!".
That's what we're all doing, as artists, anyway, inspirational or not, right? We have a message to convey. There's just a special song that inspirational art sings to me that nothing else can come close to.
