Roses.
Hi,
Posting in this forum after a long gap. Kindly stop by to comment on this. All C&C are welcome.  This is done using WC ref oil on canvas.

Very nice work Latha - I like the play of light on the roses and the contrast between detail down right and out-of-focus upper left.

Lovely rendering on the roses ,for me they seam to be floating darkening the stems would help or going darker around the stems to push them forward.Leaves are a great opportunity to make them interesting by varying the greens some parts are in shadow other in light this also helps to create form some that come out of the b/g by allowing some b/g color onto the leaves.

Very pretty, I agree about the light it's perfect but I think what I love most is that they nestle together, I know my roses bend from the weight of their heads and this is so natural in it's appeal. Well done.

I like the background. The composition just works for me. Altogether lovely. Since you asked for C&C, the only thing, and it is small, is as stated above, darken the stems in places of the roses up front and in focus. Really a beautiful piece.
