You can use a sand blaster to etch/carve glass. That said there is a lot of detail in the pics that you show. Carving the glass will give you control of fine detail that is difficult to do with a sandblaster.
Note that a 150 psi compressor does not give enough information to know if it will work for you. The number of CFM (cubic feet per minute) that the compressor can supply at pressure is what you need to look at. There are different types of sandblasters (press pot vs siphon feed). Each type will have different requirements. The CFM requirement will also be determined by the size of the nozzle that you use on the sandblaster. Large nozzles need lots of cfm while small detail nozzles do not need as much.
If you have never done this before I would recommend starting off with simple silhouettes. Think simple black/white designs. You can experiment with depth of cut on them.
Also be aware that both glass and sand dust are very bad for you (look up silicosis). Wear a good mask and protect yourself.
