Ugallery

I just applied to Ugallery. Comparing them to saatchiart.com, they have way fewer artists and the works are more traditional. So I thought I would submit my landscape paintings. They also jury paintings, which saatchiart.com doesnot.

They ask for ten paintings done in the last two years. No problem. I doubled the price on each painting, since I have been selling off my site and they take 50%, and I changed the prices on my site to match. They also ask for dibs on selling the painting for I think three months. So if you sell it off your site before then, you will have to ask your client to wait. I only wish that having a bunch of buyers was my problem.

They ask also for an artist's bio and any relevant education (not much for me).

It's five dollars to apply. They take a week to respond. I will keep you all posted about what happens.
