Just remember this about reflective metal...the shinier or more polished the metal the more distinct the shapes in the metal are. Also keep track of the light source(s) as they will dictate where the highlights in the metal are. Another thing, the tighter the curve of the metal, the thinner the reflective shapes will be. Finally, metal reflects all colors in the immediate surroundings. That will help tie the metal into its setting. Good luck!
