The best way to do that is to cut 1" pieces of the rods you want to mix, attach punty at both ends and start melting at one end, twisting and pulling as much as you can to obtain an even mix, then pull stringers. Some colours cancel themselves though, and you'll get grey quite often, but lots of mixes give great colors. What is interesting is that the mixing of two opaque colors can give a transparent one etc...
Sorry, I am very bad at keeping tags on what I do so I don't have any precise recipe... which also means that I struggle a lot when I want to redo a colour I like...
