I simple terms I had a test in regards to my finger problem where I had to swallow a camera so they could take a peek at my heart. They wanted to make sure that I didn't have anything that would cause clots to the blood vessels going to my hand. I was a bit nervous about swallowing a camera but he gave me some drugs that totally knocked me out and the next thing I remember is waking up in the recovery room. Now that's my kind of medical procedure :D:) Will let you all know the results when I get them. :D:)

oh, that sounds pleasant - really ;)

i get a camera next week inserted into me just below my navel, so they can take my gall bladder out on thursday :)

but all the research i've done, there seems to be more risks having it done laprascopically than the traditional method. thats enough to scare me.

thankfully i'll be out like a light when all this happens!

good luck on the results!

Hopefully you will get some answers! :D Technology sure has advanced. I agree with you that that is best kind of procedure. I have said that if they knock me out then I am the least of their problems :)

I don't know what sounds worse...the name or the procedure itself!

I hope they find out what's going wrong with your finger. ((((((Murrray))))))

Geeze, Trish and I think alike. I was going to tell you that it seems like a lot of trouble for reference images! Keep us posted, okey-dokey?

Geeez Murray...I'm trying to imagine what they would do to you if you had a problem in something bigger than your finger!!!

How long do you have to wait for your results??? Not long I hope....let us know.

Keep plugging away Murray..... they will find out what's wrong eventually. It's nice they put you under for the procedure....much better...if a bit scary at the time.
Hehehehe....I was going to ask that question about the camera too:D

The internal camera has become pretty commonplace for medical procedures any more... the device is so small it's not that invasive, and they can see more than you would believe... It is truly amazing to me (and I used to work in a hospital).

Do you get copies of the photos for future reference material? :D

I like the idea of an "Inside Murray" series. :D

Seriously though, I hope that everything turns out okay for you.
