I'm having a little problem with my sky (its acrylic 14x18). It looks to me kinda too "orderly"...
Any wise words?
Cheers,

Seems to me you all ready know the answer to this one! Yes, it does look "orderly", I don't know if I have ever seen clouds line up in quite this way, and even if I did, I am not convinced that they make for a good composition.

In your shoes, I would go find some really good sky images, with these types of cloud, and adjust to make the sky much more interesting. Perhaps if you made the topmost line of clouds, the ones closest to us, considerably bigger and more random in terms of size and shape, some linked together with others, that would be more interesting.

Incidentally - do you want this picture to be about the sky, or about the sea? If it is more about the sea, then you will want the viewer to be able to concentrate on the sea, in which case the sky really interferes.

If it is more about the sky, then perhaps you should concentrate on the sky area, and cut out a lot of the lower half of the picture. You need to decide what is more important to you. At the moment, there is a battle for attention going on between sky, and land.
