The crop is nice, but I like the original is better. I like the expanse of sky which gives you a better feel of being out by the sea. Of course imo.

It's a super painting Robert - either way ... but as it's canvas and can't be cropped then the second is for another painting!:lol:

LOVE LOVE IT!! Will have to go back and look at the ref--must have missed it. Is it in the Cafe? I LIKE the whole sky! Beautiful!

Very very beautiful - Cropped or not, this is so great. Colors are perfect, the mood is perfect, just a perfect picture.

I like the uncropped version. The crop puts the horizon to close to the center... something I have a habit of doing untentionally even though I know better.:o

Robert- this sets a beautiful mood. Very good composition well executed imho. I think I prefer the first crop as it amplifies on the sky.

It's a lovely, and moody, painting. Wonderful use of color. I like both versions, for different reasons. Uncropped gives more peace. Cropped is more active, but horizon should not be near center.
