I've been interested in art history and recently been reading a lot about an artist who was born very near my home (Thomas Hart Benton) and naturally I became interested in Egg Tempera. I've been collecting resources on the technique and I think I've read up enough on it to start playing with it.

Given my limited time, I don't know how successful I can be with it. I've never painted much, though I do a lot of graphics work on the computer, being a web developer and a photographer. These seem to be conspiring against me. I've got some Rabbit Skin Glue, Gesso, and muslin on the way, and I've got some plywood. I'm ready to start prepping some panels and start experimenting.
