This is my most recent painting, 20X20 on wrapped canvas, my first try at using metal leaf......pretty fun stuff! :)

While it isn't a copy, it was inspired by some of Gustav Klimt's "woods" paintings.

I couldn't get the photo to load....

but here's a link....

Really nice ! Do you still have that dog that owns you ? I can't remember her name but I sure liked her.

I like it too. Don't know your dog but that certainly looks a wonderful place in which to take a dog for a walk. Great colours in the leafy floor of the forest.

Thanks!

@Raymo....yep, GeeWop's her name....and I've adopted 2 more chihuahua's. :rolleyes:

Rosie is a rescue.....and my latest, Gidget sorta is. Her owner was an elderly person in very poor health & had to be admitted to a nursing home. So.....now I'm owned by 3 very spoiled fur-babies! :smug:

lol.....I just KNEW that wasn't it, but yeah I was close! :rolleyes:

Thanks!

She has had to adjust to having competition for my attention....and it hasn't always been smooth sailing. She was an "only fur-baby" for a lot of years....there IS some resentment! lol

I really like this piece. It has a surreal feel and make the imagination wander... Love your palette too!
