Hi Everyone, It took a while to figure out how to post my intro, as I'm not too computer savvy, but I found it at last. I've just attended my first online webinar and enjoyed it immensely. I've only just started painting a year ago, and due to many interruptive earthquakes here, it's not given me many lessons nor much practice. Hope to remedy that this year, although still getting daily earthquakes. You learn to live with them. Enjoying seeing so much info online

Greetings, how nice to meet you! :)
There is something here for every artist and all levels of expertise. I urge you to visit the subject and medium forums and some of the special interest forums, also.
Your experience here at WetCanvas can be made much easier by reviewing the Sticky threads at the top of the New Users Forum. Also, Moderators and Guides often have extra links in their signature lines at the bottom of their posts to help you with the more commonly asked questions. Make the most of this information but feel free to return here if you have any problems and one of us will assist you.
* You can access any Forum by using the “Forum Jump” located at the bottom right of the screen or the Channels drop down menu at the upper left

Hi Saskia

I have to admire your courage and acceptance of the risks of earthquakes but I guess the beauty of New Zealand helps to make up for it!. Enjoy your learning there is lots of help here.

Hi and a warm welcome to the Wet Canvas Community

This is a very large site with a lot going on in the forums. Be sure to check out the subject and medium forums as well as some of the special interest forums. There is something here for every artist and all levels of expertise. All are welcome, so don’t be shy about posting or starting threads.

A good place to start your WC! experience is to read some of the articles in the links found in the signature lines of some of the mods and guides - they contain some very useful information which will help you to navigate and participate in WC!

If you have any problems, just drop back here to New Users and we’ll be happy to help.

Have fun and enjoy Wet Canvas! :)
