I don't like the bush, should I just block it out with the lake color, draw branches and start overwith the green? This is from photo of Schroon Lake N.Y.http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s100/aligator96/001-6.jpg

enlarged it a little but a bit blurry
If you dont like it then you can instead of painting it out.. paint over some areas wit the blue of the water and green mountains and sky.
then re add your bush colors again, then it will appear as some of the sky and water is showing thru the bush, if its not exactly same color as the water then make a smaller bush or tree branches to come out from the bottom left corner. Or just tall blades of grass in front of the rocks and around the bottom of the bush. Adding areas of your background colors on the bush will make it look like its showing thru and cover areas you dont like.
One good thing about Acrylics you can paint over and over an area.
If its too dark a color to cover, use white on the areas then blue or green and you wont have to use many layers to cover the dark color.

Good luck!
next time size your photo only down to 600x800

This is a start....and a nice one!

You might try having a clearer value management. Try to concieve stronger contrast tones for all the foreground. Keep your water tones grouped by their common blue. Grab the particular blue that you used in sky and use it as highlights and gleams in water. Keep the mountains soft...maybe bluer but soft blended transitions.
