This painting is on 8 by 6.5 inch sealed watercolor paper. It is based on an image in the RIL; thanks to PeterH. I wanted to convey the emotional idea of the power and fury in the storm cloud. I therefore used visible brush strokes instead of a smooth cloud. All comments and advice are appreciated. Thanks.

Dear Arlene,
Haven't been online for a while and i surely recognized your style right away my dear. A lovely piece of work indeed, love the drama in this!

Try more dry brushing for variation in the sky OR if doing wet-in-wet double or tripple load your brush e.g. pick of a touch of white with your blues like colbalt or Ultramarine and brush on but try not to blend.

I really like the perspective of this piece. It gives off a rounded but sort of tilting feel. :)
