I had to paint this for a friend of a friend.
I'm not sure if the cow is called Daisy or not but I think she looks like a Daisy.... :D
Acrylic on canvas 16" X 20" (I think) :D
C&C welcome although I have signed it and given it to the customer and she is very happy but I would appreciate any comments for any future cow paintings.

I like it's expression! I'm doing a cow at the moment. Mine is black. Yours definitely looks like a Daisy!

A lovely painting Ann and I love the photos on your website. It must be inspiring to live in such beautiful surroundings.

She's lovely - great handling on the white and the way the skin and hair is coming down the neck particularly. She's obviously kept on nice pasture.

Well done Ann. Good foreshortening on the nose. The eyes don't quite line up for me, but at least the client was happy. Check out this cow which has almost the same pose.

Holy cow! Only kidding Anne. She looks serene and innocent though.

Marion ....thank you ....I am also now trying to paint a black cow. I think the white one was easier!
Doug .... thank you. ...... yes it is inspiring to live in such a beautiful place. The wind and rain does sometimes spoil the view though but there isn't a lot we can do about that.
Amanda ....thank you for that. In the summertime she would be out in nice pasture but in the winter months she would be kept indoors and I doubt if she would be looking as white then.
Hi Carol .... thanks for that. I shall pay more attention to the eyes in the next one. Thanks also for the link to the cow photograph too.
Kathie ...... thank you ....:D
Purple ...... thanks .... :D
Mary .....thanks .....:D
Holy cow Margaret! :D ..... thanks .....:D

Super directional painting for the hair Anne - OK, she's a little 'wall-eyed' maybe, but some cows are like that!
She's lovely!

Anne, that is a beautiful cow. Wonderful colours and yet it reads 'white'. I love the way you have painted the nose. Terrific painting.
