It's already looking very good Jim - I like the seaweed covered rocks and the cold look of foggy sea - brrr!

I agree with Maureen. Jim, you didn't say if it was the Oregon coast, but it sure looks like it to me. Love the colors in the moss and rocks.

Great. I can't see anything that small let alone paint it

I am with you Paul. I would have to work under a magnifier. Lovely atmosphere - an over sized frame would set this off beautifully.

Looks finished to me. Very atmospheric and a gem of a painting.

Ooooooooooohh, I love this. All that detail on such a small painting! It looks finished to me.

Wow, Jim, another beauty. Absolutely love those rocks and the foamy sea in the foreground.

One minor thing I noticed was that the water fowl in the background are pushed back further than their size would suggest.

This is a really wonderful composition and I would have been convinced that it was much larger due to the impressive amount of detail! It is actually bigger on my screen than in real life. :D

Rick-
Yes we have been talking about that. The painting is a little large. I was thinking about talking the big one off and paint it smaller. Then my boss said he loves it the way it is!! It will be a gift for Christmas. I do agree though. Thanks for the reminder.
