What a cute and delightful painting, Maureen! I love it, this is the type of work close to my heart. By the way, where's the fire hydrant? :D

Thanks all :)

Wilfred - when I saw this ref last week, and had your painting still in mind, what else could I choose to do? ........ sadly, we don't have fire hydrants like yours :( and the inclusion of one of 'ours' would definitely have been detrimental!;)

Maureen, what a fun painting, and you picked a great title!

So you did the blacks with a pen, and the colors with a brush??

Thanks Deb - yes, the inks are used like w/c - wet in wet, so very little brush work - except the trousser legs! They're painted as normal but with overlays of the inks .... then a pen for the 'zentangle' dogs - all very quick!
