Finally finished my Guitar painting after a long week of late nights!
this is the second of two music themed paintings my brother wanted for a benefit auction being held at
the Fall conference of the NTMA (National Tooling and Manufacturing Assoc) to which my brother is secretary.
The auction is for their scholarship fund in the name of one of the members sons who was killed in Afghanistan.
I surely hope it helps bring them alot of money!!
I Hope you all enjoy it!!
Total work approx 58 hrs
"Rock N Rose"
Acrylic on 16x20" Staplebacked canvas with painted sides.

Kathie- wonderful Fender-- is that a Squire or Strat? Either way you rendered it beautifully, and the rose adds just the right color and elegance! Thanks for sharing the WIP photos, we learn a lot from them.

Wonderful and beautiful work Kathie!!!   You did it again! I had some titles for you on the September Easel, but "Rock N Rose" fits this masterpiece just perfect!! :)

You know one of the things I love most about painting is when someones painting looks better than the reference photo. To me your painting has more character and warmth than the photo, well done and good luck :)
