This afternoon I painted a cow again.
Not as colourful as before though. It's acrylics on canvas, 40x48".
I'm quite pleased with it myself (for the moment). C&C welcome.

Oh Connie - it looks just like some of the young ones I've been watching since Spring - gorgeous!
The colours are very effective.

There's just enough of the yellow/orange color to make it exciting!

HI Connie!I very well remember your 'previous cows'!despite this one is less colorful it's very beautiful!love the subtle change in the black part and these rusty tones of course!

Connie, excellent job! the stance is realistic, but the colors are just abstract enough, great combination! I agree with Bertoni, you have the right amount of the yellow/orange color to make it exciting.

Love cow paintings and this one is fantastic. Must look amazing on that large format. Nice simplicity to it as well.

He's cute. You can see the wobble in the way he walks. I really like the different shades of black and the little bits of orange, like someone else said - just the right amount to add something extra and interesting.
