I guess I forgot to get my name of the person who I got this reference from. I will have to go back to the library and look. Thanks to this person.

I Have not really sat down and did just a graphite for some time. I need to practice my drawing skills so I was tring to see the negative space to do this. It worked pretty good. I had problems with first horse and decided to make him a bit shorter then in the photo or at least on my paper he seemed too large otherwise. I just thought it looked better this way. I don't know, I need to more of these and this one was not easy for some reason.

http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/14-Sep-2011/75586-smallwildhorses.jpg It is an 8x10 graphite, sorry about the quality of photo. I find it difficult to get good photo's of graphite.

Beautiful pencil work Iaartist, I love the softness of the horses muzzles. I know what you mean about photographing graphite. Have you tried scanning your work? :cat:

Thanks everyone!
Lisapenci I did try and scan it but its just a little large for scanner and it lets in light. I tried to cover scanner with blanket and that helped but didn't fix all the light entering problem.

I am going to try and do more when I have time. I closed the sale of 5 commissions the other day so I have a lot of work to do. I do need to get a picture that is better of this as one of my clients would like a print of it! Wish I could go see the Wild horses in person. That would be something else!
