acrylics are a difrent way of working to oils and you can usualy tell an acrylic work from oils

but the above takes away the fantastic results available in acrylics
if you need any proof take one look at this supreme work in acrylics

then ask the same question !!!

It seems that I need to react faster while painting with acrylics. Mistakes have major impact since the paint dry immediately.

you can also use "open acrylics" that give more chance to rework areas

here is an aviation artist that works in acrylic and as you will see he makes many alterations along the way
