Hi,I am new to this site and this is my first post. I love to paint , but I didn't do it for a while.I recently found a book "painting inspirations" by J Yarnell and this is my first try. i didn't know some of the techniqes or I found on my own. So this is it . What do you think?- Mariana Bulgaria

I love it. I can't decide what my favorite part is. Maybe the texture of the roadway, the rocks and grasses, flowers. They all pull together to be so wonderful. The use of light and dark. Very eye-catching. Love it!

It looks pretty good, used to see Jerry Yarnell on PBS but haven't in a long time. He makes painting look so easy, doesn't he?

For your first painting this is just great. It looks as you have learnd alot from his book. I don't know what dish/ cable Co. you have but if you could fine BYU channel he is on evey day in the week. Keep up the good work!

Great job Mariana, I really like how the adobe building and fence came out. :clap:

I watch Jerry Yarnell on PBS every week and learn a lot.
