Well, as Howard predicted, my muse returned.... and this is what she told me to paint! It's my suggestion for how to get the kids to eat their greens. :)
Help yourself - there's plenty for everyone!
20x16 on deep wrapped canvas. Camera has distorted the image a little.

You need one to dispense ranch dressing !
I like the way your mind works....

Oh what a fun painting!! glad to see your muse has returned!
(I like broccoli, but my quarter is going for the jelly beans...:) )
Hi Raymo, ranch dressing eh?...... Hmmm, don't get me started!
Thanks Deb! It was a fun painting and my money's going to jelly beans too (but don't tell the kids!)

How neat! My money would go for the Jelly Beans too.:D Maybe it's the color. My daughter used to call broccoli 'trees', I think if it were a different color kids would like it.

I'd take the broccoli if there was melted cheese in one of the machines!
Wonderful, fun painting!

Who in the world is going to pay 25 cents for broccoli? I love this painting. All those jelly beans with lying at different angles and the highlights, well, the whole painting is awesome to me.

Pattilou, Cameron, Wassie, Linda, lathadamle, Linda, Kathie & Lavender - thank you all for your comments! Sounds like the broccoli might be a hard sell and dispensing melted cheese with it would be messy & containers would be neccessary which would push the price up..... and as Wassie said, "who is going to pay 25 cents for broccoli?"
Oh well, another brilliant idea down the drain! Of course that's not going to stop me from conjuring these things up :wink2: .

Incredible details and beautifully painted as always Coralie, I love it! You come up with such interesting subjects.
How did your show go last week?

I actually thought this painting was a picture at first glance. It made me giggle. I completely agree about a cheese sauce dispenser!
(and with the price of broccoli here I'll take a whole bunch!)

Coralie, I am so pleased your muse is back. This is absolutely brilliant and wonderfully creative. I love it.
Hi everyone, thanks so much for your comments! I apologize for the tardiness of my response - I've been off on a little holiday.
Lillian, the show has been going well in terms of viewers and PR, but it hasn't translated in sales as yet - just a few so far. It is at a small public gallery which typically isn't known for sales. It's ongoing until mid September, so there's still lots of time.

The more I see your work, the more I enjoy it. The sense of humor and the thought process and the work that goes into it. Very interesting insight/social commentary.
