Fun stuff, Sandra. The 1 min gestures have good rhythm to them , especially the one in the center. Love that second one i.e. the 10 min pose, I think you managed to capture the grace in it as well. There is some odd narrowing of her forearm in between, but that is minor. The one with color, actually is promising. If you had time to develop it, that would have been cool. All in all, good sense of proportion, contours and shapes, and shadow shapes for the longer poses. Am just curious if these are all the poses you get in your life sessions? How long is the total session. Am curious because, in most places here in San Diego, 3 hours is quite typical.
BTW, the jury finds you guilty of distracting unsuspecting folks with some beautiful life drawings

Kiran , you always give such great thoughts on both sides of the candle in my work which I totally appreicate deeply ... understanding , I guess Im not lucky enough yet here in my own home town to have the beautiful distractions of having a Life session for the length of time you get... which is a real shame , cause I would love nothing more to stand and draw for 3-4 hours at one pose we only get a 2 hour session... and well the poses arent that vaired either ... last night I felt in tune with the model cause for 1 -she was more upbeat in her Imin gestures , and poses in general , I could sense this , and from that ~therefore the drawing seem to flow much more from me:D ... I need to connect with the model ,if they are not into showing movement even coming from a poses thats well -- still , then it just seems to not read that well trying to draw from life if theres no life in the model to begin with ... does this make sense.:o ??..
I feel having posed myself I understand this because , the Artist needs to feed off the model as much as I need to draw from Life , and well I guess Im glad for one thing about Atelier soon , because I will be drawing a constant daily~ all day and even 3 Nights a week if Im up to it ... :crossfingers: I plan on making my teacher's sick of me .. naah they are actully quite nice dudes and Im looking so forward to it ...:D and thankyou for that last comment that was a really lovely thing to say to me !!:o
Kate , that means a great deal to me like you wouldnt belive , you have been with me from day dot on here ... Thankyou Girl !!!!:D
Ta ~greatly Becc... arh Color me happy I say !!!:D
your free flowing lines are taking off....!!!!!!
Carol , Im more then happy to read you , I do feel theres something happening , just not sure of it all yet ... its like we say a constant battle to understanding all that there is , and really Im taking my stride in now I think ... so lets hang in there and see :music: :D

Arh Cheers Mrs B ... you are a great inspration to say the least too me:o in the art department and your well adjusted mind is something I would love to share to :D , in general you are a well adjusted hard working artist I admire something else .. you know ~ we are lucky to have you!!!
Wanda , Im pleased to hear SUPER , I wish I felt that coming through them all the time:D , it gets hard to pinpoint certain elements that you think are working and whats not ... but I do find letting go of mind detail is helping if this makes sense !! and thankyou Wanda for the kind Bday wish too

IMHO, a vertical figure, not doing much i.e just standing there with weight equally distributed between feet is one of the more difficult poses to draw. The center of gravity tends to shift from where it ought to be, and the figure ends up looking off-balance. You did so very well on that account in the last drawing (http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/18-Aug-2011/186639-045.JPG), and with such simple, sweeping curves - wonderful!

Funny I was thinking about you and your brilliance of mind -Sen ,:) I guess , I dont have long enough to record every facet or detail of the human form like longest pose ie : 20 mn ) ...yet ~ cause Im not that good yet --I havent even been at ld that long its nearly my first hole year at it , that mite be changing soon I hope with school and drawing more !!:crossfingers: :D
The road is never ending Robert , in my journey:music: , but Im happy to share my growth with GREAT aRTISTS like yourself , be it success or failure!!:)
