This is my first "portrait" done in CP, it is of Amy Winehouse. I know she isn't everyone's favorite but I really find her to have interesting features. ( I also feel sorry for her..)

Anyway..I worked in the major colors and shapes and I need to let it bloom and then fix then add some more layers. I messed up the tata's... (burnished too much then eh...long story.) Need to redo them.

I want to really take my time with the hair....since it was one of her dominant features.

C&C welcome. I will try to show progress tomorrow..

I like it, though maybe those collarbones should be more level?? I do actually like some of her music ("Valerie" and "Rehab") and I too feel sorry that she had so many proiblems in her short life. Will like to see if you do more with her hair!

LOL I just noticed the collarbones. That is the problem when you do stuff up real close.. it gets all wonky. Thanks! I am going to do lots more with her hair.

You have done an amazing job capturing her. She does have an interesting face to portray I agree. She died so young and it is very sad.

You've definitley "got" her, well done. I too love the songs FaeLyn mentioned - "Valerie" & "Rehab" - my favourites, I guess her death was inevitable.......but very sad, she was a talented lady.
