Looks lovely and delicate. Assuming you are using oils?
Have come back for another look. Lovely delicate skin tones. I'm sure you'll adjust Leigh, but at the moment her chin seems out of line?

Leigh, this is beautiful work- as always!
I am amazed that you achieved this without a blue. Love it!

Thankyou guys
Lulu , good point , if you notice the face is at a slight angle up and to the viewers left so there will be a bit of the flesh showing from under the jaw line so when I've finished you will see what I mean , nice crit thou
Bethany I think I'm gonna struggle without the blue so watch this space I could be looking at adding it yet lol

Leigh, the first time I opened this, I gasped with pleasure. I keep coming back to it--It's simply beautiful! I am also eager to see the work without blue. Sometimes I over-use blue in the shadows. This is gorgeous!

This is wonderful. Personally I think it would be more effective without the face on the t shirt.

Very nice work with this very limited palette. Delicate and the child is really a child. I guess you paint in very thin layers .... regards, Walter

Hi Walter , i paint very thin indeed but it has its advantages of drying really quick

Its exquisite. The softness of the piece really stands out. Limited palettes are wonderful to use I think.

Lovely, Leigh!
Only one thing: I'm trying to decide if I find the polka-dots around the top of the background a bit too dark. I do like how you've done the ones from about her ears down.
I know it's a matter of balance, and one wants the main attention to go to her face.
It's beautiful Leigh. So did you end up using any blue??
