A couple pair of earrings I made lately.
Silver plated wire, red beads are metallic lined glass.
C&C appreciated.

Jump rings are silver plated, rest of metal is base. Purple glass beads and flourite (I think. I lost the ID) donut beads. My granddaughter, Madison, picked out the purple. It's her favorite color.:)

Hat's off to Madison! The purple really brings the jump rings to life. Lovely pair.

Thanks, Rob, I'll tell her you said so. As you can see, I'm trying out a bit of chain maille. Very, very basic stuff so far, but I've ran out of jump rings and I don't think I have any suitable wire to make any. I'll have to check. It's fun, though. It reminds me of crocheting. I think I'd like to try some bracelets with semi-precious stones, maybe... or a pendant... or chain? So many decisions.

Hi! I'm new to this forum.. I do spend time over in the WDE, ATCs and watercolor forums. What is S&T? I like all three of these! I am lucky to get one jump ring attached right, let alone try chain maille. Kurlie 8-)

S&T is Show & Tell, Kurlie. Thanks. I'm just sort of practicing until I can get some more supplies. Hope to post more earrings soon.

Me again with another two pair of earrings.
Mixed silver metal and glass beads on both. I'm trying to use up some stuff... plus, I just like bending wire.

I like those these pairs and I can see where Madison gets her eye for color. :)

Both have a strong sense of balance and weight, with just the right amount of color against the silver. Particularly like the heart earings. Excellent pieces, Sandy.

Very nice chainmaille Sandy and you look like you are coming along just fine. Everything looks pretty awesome. I love to do chainmaille and there are some pretty good patterns on M.A.I.L. Maille Artisans International and tutorials too. Some times its just easier to look at the photos and figure them out cause the directions can be confussing at times... but they have really good photo directions. Keep up the good work...
