Why do oils if acrylic can give you these results? In my humble opinion. If you like painterly realism this guy is indeed an inspiration.

Beautiful works, I was reading an article just recently about the "pecking order" in regards to art. Oils are #1 with Acrylics being #2 According to this article people are willing to pay more for the oils. Interesting article. I have to agree with you though why paint with oils when you can like this.

Thanks for sharing this . I don't have a preference for oils or acrylics as long as they are beautifully painted it is 'egal' (regardless) for me. I think the paintings on this website are absolutely stunning.
