Thinking of a larger version of this. 12x9", on paper. Golden fluid acrylics and GAC 100. Bt. Sienna and purple and Zinc white.

Nice impressionistic study.Would look really amazing on a larger support too.
I loved this as soon as I opened it. His stance says it all, something like, "ya, I'm wearing pink, so whaddaya gonna do about it?" Wonderful economy of brushstrokes and the palette is succulent.

Excellent use of the limited palette. I think it would look great as a larger painting.

acrylics can be meleted plastic yuckyiness but this painting is a good example of how they can look similar to oils and how they can have a silky sheen to them too. i love the colours in this painitng- the blue for the darker value in the shirt... didnt quite figure out if this was on paper or canvas.

Thanks for all the new comments. Kate, it's paper with a canvas texture and a plastic coating, or that's what it looks like. It was nice to paint on.
