i do love this kid... does it show??? she's 10 going on 17... just JUST finished this in pastels, mostly JackRicheson handmades that i treated myself to last Dec and just opened..... (been 'off the wagon') ... i'm having a glass of wine and doing the "happpy/done" dance.... but still see at least 2 things to change, (bummmer)... advice, advice, other than toning down the red lip, (tho her lip is RED), what else is glaring???? i'm stoked... this is about 9X12, about 6 hrs total on&off ... and yes, her teeth ARE blue tho showing whitewhite on here....

Those blues and light blues at her lovely face kind of age her... Is there anyway you can warm up those values?

Luicre... thanx for stopping to look and comment.... the blue is the reflection of the pool and the water... that's what captivated me to try and paint this !! and the water was COLD... it works "in real life"... and at her age, she LOVES that it makes her look older!!!......... (i toned down the red lip because it looks too much like lipstick, butshe has beautiful intense coloring.... ) you know that once you post something, you see all its flaws... that's what i'm hoping will happen now... thanx again....:wave:

I know what your saying, it happens to me all the time. However I cant find any flaws in this. Your colors are beautiful and I love how you have the water replected in her face. Youve done a great job here. And its so colorful.
