They're cute! Are they babies? We bird sit for our neighbors when they are out of town.

Oh my gosh, Bev! You got to play with a hy?!?!?! Lucky you! I think the hyacinth macaw is the 'dream bird' of all parrot owners, don't you? S/he is beautiful! And the b/g babies are just as precious as can be. Your son is a lucky young man.

Hi MJ :)

I never thought I'd see a hyacinth, with them being so rare here. So she is a special treat.

These two are becoming real close :D

Is that your son? If so, what a handsome young man he's grown to be.

Yep, MJ, thats David.. the youngest. He's 19 now.

Its so nice to see him so nurturing and gentle with these babies.

This is the same kid who, at the age of 6, proclaimed "When I grow up I want to be a policeman and shoot everybody!"

he also flooded the dining room, set fire to the house, and got lost in the woods for hours but we dont want to talk about that.....

Wow! My son is only 6....if that's what I have to look forward to I had better keep him chained to his bed for the next 12 years!;)

It sounds like you must have earned a few gray hairs! :)
