I LOVE them! Emus have so much personality, they're hilarious. And fluffy! The triptych looks fantastic :)
Especially love the expression of the middle one!!

I love them. The one in the middle made me laugh at his expression. (Reminded me of my ex.)

I thought I'd written something, but I guess I didn't wait for it to register. I have a title though..."He's YOUR son!" I think you need to do a flock of these, they're so wonderful.

Patrick, what a great tryptich!! I thought that I knew the one that I liked the best, but am not sure now!! Wonderful expressions!!

This is great Patrick, the 3 remind me of a birdie pic with the one in the center, the pic said "RETARDS! theres one in every bunch!" :)
04-10-2011, 07:34 PM
Many thanks everyone :)
Haha, Gary, I remember that pic I think. Also the one's where there's a lineup like of bee-eaters, all facing the same way, except one
Bonnie - your ex? Must have been one weird dude
Karen, you commented in the scratchboard forum. Maybe that's what you were thinking. Plus, you definitely win with the title. That's what I'm going to call it   Thanks

Great work Patrick. Lots of character on all three of them. And lots of integrity, at least on two of them.

Beautifully done! It has a wonderful range of value and is so textural.
My teenage niece, who is afraid of birds in a sick fascination sort of way, would be satisfyingly terrified!! I'll be sure to show her this.

Shari, you are a cruel aunty
Tomas, yes you are right, no integrity whatsoever in the middle one
