It has been a while since I have posted any new art, I haven't done much. This is a 8x10 portrait for some friends of mine. This is their dog Carmie. Carmie recently had a cancerous tumor removed from her front paw, she is undergoing pill chemotherapy and doing great. Her prognosis is very good.
I wanted to do this portrait for them because he is a contractor and has helped me a lot over the years with projects around the house.
I wasn't planning on doing much art until I finish my art room and new art desk, but that could still be a while so I thought that I would start this one.http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/31-Mar-2011/135983-Carmie.jpg

Thank you all for the kind comments!! I was able to do a little more on this one over the weekend. The rest of the weekend I was putting primer on the walls of my art room.

Thank you Harry and Emily.

It will be colored. I will have a whole art room once it is finished, still needs paint trim work, flooring, doors and a new art desk that I am going to build. For now it is the kitchen table.

Thank you all for the kind words. I am making progress. I still have quite a bit of scratching before I add color, which won't be much since she is a white dog with really lt. tan ears. Here's the latest update. C & C welcome.
